[Talkrc] Water Buffalo

It was a great day for float flying.  Many thanks to Glen and Jeff for providing and manning the recovery boat.

Buffalos in attendance were Glen, Clee. Tom, Fred Stong, Fred Fisher, Del, Jim Reynolds, Dave, John, Linda Sterling, and honorary buffalos Bruce Nelson(Spokane) and Jim Edwards from Dayton. Mardy and Jerry were on hand to do the heavy onlooking and hopefully to get hooked on float flying.

Most flew Seamasters but Bruce flawlessly  flew his Big Stik, and John had a go with a Super Decathalon. The highlight of the day was the maiden off-the-water flight of Jim Edwards' Pica 1/5th scale Spitfire MK9.  It was a succesful flight but Jim will probably attest that it had its moments!! At any rate it taxied in under its own power.  I have a couple of pictures of it so just email me if you would like to see them.
