[Talkrc] wind seems to be settling tonight

No problem Fred. Went out this afternoon, just got back. Very nice, very
little wind. Craig was out also, with a student that is learning fast.

I had a tuned pipe drop off in the desert northeast of the field, so I need
to go out tomorrow and find the sucker. Craig and I looked a little, but the
sun was setting. Worse case, I fly my fun-fly tomorrow. Should be good
land-plane day.

I should probably get an outboard mount for my boat. To shallow back of the
Y for I/O, but it should be fine with a motor that doesn't stick way down
there. I even have a little outboard that I inherited from my grandfather.
Hasn't run in 15 years, but it could if I made sure the fuel system is
flushed.

Steve and all,
It could happen. However, I have a problem now. My son Fred Jr., who lives
in Seattle, will come in late tonight to fly his plane with me Sunday on
buddy box. His plane is a 60 size Super Sportster which doesn't do well on
water. So, if the wind is reasonable for land planes, I would prefer
forgoing the seaplanes for this weekend. If there is too much wind for the
land planes and still OK for seaplanes, he can buddy box on one of my
seaplanes. I will try to be up early and sort out what it will be tomorrow.

Next weekend is out because my grandson has to do something in Seattle. So
the next opportunity from my end will be the weekend after that.
Fred S
